Paragliding holidays to France
run from May to October and for all round flying and stunning scenery France is
right at the top. We have been running Paragliding holidays in France
and Europe since 1992 and over the years we have built up a good knowledge of local
French sites and conditions. .
BEST SITES IN EUROPE
The
sites we use in France are
some of the best in Europe where world class competitions are held. Ranging from small
training slopes to 3500' mountains. For many this is their first big flight, our
favourite site is 2900', with large easy take off, a lovely two and a half mile glide to a
massive landing field taking about fifteen minutes, longer if there are any thermals on
the way down. For the more experienced pilot we use a 3500' site easy to fly with great
cross-country potential.
FAMILY OR FRIENDS THERE'S LOTS TO DO
We are here
on holiday to Paraglide but
there are also stacks of exciting things to do such as white water rafting which is great fun. Another way to see this
spectacular scenery, is take a bike to the top of the mountain and cycle down through forest tracks, picturesque villages and past
lakes stopping for drinks or lunch and back in time for tea. There
is also Surfing at the famous Biarritz beaches, Kayaking, horse riding,
climbing, walking and relaxing. We normally eat out at one of the
many restaurants or BBQ at our chalet.
ACCOMMODATION
Our
modern
chalet sleeps 9 and is set in 1 acre with beautiful views to the mountains plus all the usual facilities,
The chalet is situated so we can reach as many sites as possible
depending on the wind direction. A large picturesque town is 10 mins
drive away and has bakers, shops, supermarkets, bars, and restaurants.
This is a good time for near Club Pilots to
get some serious airtime and may be finish their tasks.

Price includes tuition with
local
school and use of their equipment. 7 nights B &B shared
accommodation, transport, and airport transfers. Flights to France are not included.
Starting on low training slopes for the first couple of days and flying from
1000 feet by
the end of the week. A week should see you archive Elementary Pilot
level.

Club Pilot Tuition
Price includes tuition with BHPA
and or local
instructors, 7 nights B&B shared accommodation, transport,
Flights to France not included.
We focus on completing those club pilot tasks combined with some thermaling.
After some refresher training and mountain flying theory, flights
can be in excess
of 2000 feet.
£545 Club Pilot and above
Price includes Guiding with BHPA
instructors, 7 nights B&B shared accommodation, transport. An ideal time for thermaling and getting those pilot rated tasks signed
off.

Is
available on request.

Flights can start form £50 if
